Snack? Healthy? Yes please!

Being a student and staring endlessly at a computer screen turns me into a classic snacker. I thought I'd try out roasting some chickpeas in harissa and olive oil to give them a fiery flavour. They definitely satisfied my savoury craving when I just needed to pick at something at my desk!

Give them a go and even add your own twist - paprika, salt or oregano instead of harissa would be nice!

Ingredients:

- 1 can (400g) chickpeas

- 2 tsp harissa

- ½ tbsp olive oil

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.

2. Drain and wash your chickpeas. Add them into a bowl with the olive oil and harissa and stir to coat the chickpeas.

3. Pour the chickpeas onto a foil lined baking tray and place in the oven for 30-45 minutes.

4. Turn the oven off and allow them to dry out for half an hour.
