Tumeric Golden Milk

Ever wanted to drink gold? Ok, well this isn't quite gold but your tastebuds won't tell the difference...
Tumeric is an excellent ingredient to add to many dishes, as it is a great antioxidant with multiple benefits. This drink is filled with interesting flavours and your immune system will thank you for it. Adding an optional squeeze of honey can transform your milk into a sweeter drink but I find the Rude Health almond milk is sweet enough as it is.
It's a treat for the eyes, tastebuds and tummy!

Ingredients:
(Makes one mug)
- ½ tsp tumeric
- 2 tsp water
- 1 cup of almond milk (I used Rude Health almond milk)
- pinch of cinnamon
- honey (optional)
Method
1. Add the tumeric and water to a saucepan and mix it into a paste.
2. Put the saucepan on a low heat and gradually add the almond milk, making sure to stir it into the paste. Leave this over a low heat to warm up (make sure to stir).
3. Once it is at your desired temperature, pour it into a mug and sprinkle over some cinnamon. Add honey if you want a sweeter taste.
